If you’re not racing with us, many of us stream the races on twitch, the links for which will be posted on race day.
Also, instead of using parties or gamechat, we are going to be using the Oppositelock Racing/Digital Burnouts Discord to communicate during the races. If for some reason we are not using the app or it fails, we will be using gamechat to communicate, and hoping for the best. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
We’re getting closer to race day! Post up any liveries if you have them done. Otherwise, just a reminder that BUILD RULES HAVE BEEN FINALIZED! !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Also, there will be 3 required pit stops for Sports-Proto cars, and 4 for GT cars.

Even if I could sit through a 2.4 hour race, I don’t think my internet connection could stay reliable for that long

That’s fine. We’re going to have nine people streaming the race, assuming all of them are present. Also, if a 2.4 is too long, the next round is only a 1.5 so you could give that a try instead.

You can swap cars whenever you feel like, but once you swap you can’t swap again for 2 rounds. So you can give a multitude of cars a try.

The Jaguar XJ-S entered production in 1975 and was raced successfully in Trans Am by Group 44 in the late 70s. We just happen to have the 1990 model instead of an earlier one.

Great liveries, but a word of advice. You’ll want some kind of raised hood on the Camaro. Those hoods are very low and don’t have room for any kind of high flowing intake manifold. Ok, that might be a little too real world.

Those are some damn good liveries.
Just a little side note about the Datsun 510 if you were strongly considering running it, it is a little off pace at Daytona. It just doesn’t have the top speed, even though I’ve turbo’d it and maxed it out. I have no doubt it will be on pace everywhere else, except Le Mans, but here it just can’t keep up. You can still run it if you were dead set but I just wanted to give you a heads up.

yeah, I’ve been driving them in single player, and both Datsuns seem to lose out when it comes to the high speed straights. I kind of like the 911, Camaro, and Mustang.
I’m a multi-player newbie in Forza, having run exactly once. I should be fine, since I run with most of the assists off. For some reason I just can never get the hang of braking or shifting with the controller, so I leave braking assist and automatic shift on, but I like full simulation for damage.

Do you use the braking line at all? Using that really helps me get the braking zones right. If you’re locking up under brakes, it might be worth it to use ABS as well.

I use braking line sometimes, though knowing where to brake isn’t usually the problem. My issue is that braking with my left hand feels unnatural. I can’t left foot brake either.
